Goals
and Philosophy
Jennifer believes a balanced lifestyle can include all foods and food groups. Balance and moderation is not a one-time achievement, it is a constant process that involves being mindful of eating habits while also including physical activity. Because everyone is different, she believes that by providing them with tools that support their individual needs she can inspire them to make lasting changes to their lifestyle.
Many people seek to change their health after it has already shown signs of wear and tear. Jennifer strongly believes in the correlation between food and culture and believes that inspring people to create and take part in their food choices results in deeper mind and body connection. Jennifer hopes to reconnect her clients to the eating experience from start to finish. She hopes to educate her clients on meal planning, food selection, and basic cooking techniques so they can develop a stronger mind body connection when it comes to food and eating habits. Jennifer also hopes to introduce and advance her clients in exercise routines appropriate for their lifestyle because she supports the incorporation of fitness and balanced eating habits for wellness and longevity. She believes that these tools are the fundamental elements to creating a lifestyle that works for you, not against you. By supplying tools needed to her clients to master the basics she hopes to build a strong foundation that will inspire and push her clients to succeed on their own.

Short Term Goals
Jennifer wants to create awareness of the impact that dietary choices have on the way a person feels about themselves; their body, their health, their life. Jennifer wants to to develop and strengthen this awareness by providing the appropriate tools for success. Becoming a Registered Dietitian would provide Jennifer with the professional credentials to give help to those that need it the most.

Long Term Goals
Jennifer wants to bridge the gap between dietary habits and the clinical nutrition sector, which involves more than just macronutrient counting. After completing her internship and masters degree, she hopes to obtain a job where she will work in concert with doctors, rehabilitation specialists, physical therapists, and fellow dietitians to help bring individuals to their highest health potential. Her ultimate goal is to counsel recently discharged hospital patients in creating new dietary habits. She wants to help them by highlighting appropriate recipes and essential nutrients, and providing them with cooking, food selection, and any other skills needed or desired in order to bring continued success in their dietary goals.
