The beginning of my clinical rotation was spent at a long-term care facility, East Bay Post-Acute Center. Here, I completed quarterly MDS assessments, completed meal, medical and skin rounds, coordinated design of menu's for residents and monitored enteral feedings. In addition, I coordinated nutrition care plans and attended interdisciplinary meetings regarding care of residents.

I also completed a pediatric case study that allowed me to calculate protein and energy needs and consult CDC growth charts.
